How you can get involved

OUR GREATEST NEED: Funding to maintain “The South African Sign Language Bible Translation Project”

Make a donation

  • Make a once-off or monthly donation to our ministry

Sponsorship

  • Encourage your church, home-group, youth group, colleagues or class-mates to be “Deaf” for an hour, two hours, or even a day
  • Ride, run, walk, swim, dance for the Deaf

Other ways to help

  • Ask volunteers from your church/organisation to host one of many tables at a “SASL Bible Translation Event”. (We can help by providing someone to address your guests as well as Deaf individuals to teach them a bit of South African Sign Language.)
  • Implement your own unique idea
  • Funds to employ a full-time social worker to see to the needs within our Deaf Church

Prayer support for The South African Sign Language Bible Translation Project:

Let us know if you would like to commit to praying for us, by sending us your e-mail address and we will send you a regular prayer update. This project cannot progress without prayer. We can do all the planning, all the work, all the fundraising, but we cannot do it alone. We need to commit every aspect of this Bible translation for the Deaf to God in prayer. The more of God’s people who commit to prayer, the more effective this translation will become.
